Class 10: two board exams

Since 2026, Class 10 students take the main board exam in February–March and can take a second, optional exam in May to improve their scores. Check the rules for your subjects on cbse.gov.in and with your school.

How to use the weeks left

  1. Write full papers under time. Use CBSE's sample question papers and past papers, three hours, no breaks.
  2. Check every paper against the marking scheme. Marks are given for steps and key points, not just the final answer.
  3. Fix the gaps, not the strengths. Spend most of your time on the chapters and question types where marks are lost.
  4. Repeat every week until the exam, and track how the score moves.

EvalAssist AI checks a handwritten answer sheet against the marking scheme in minutes and shows where each mark was gained or lost, chapter by chapter.

See where Class 10 and 12 students lose marks, chapter by chapter, from anonymised answer sheets checked on EvalAssist AI.
